Warp 9 48T E-Moto Rear Sprocket

The Warp 9 48T E-Moto Rear Sprocket is CNC-machined from high-strength 7075-T6 aluminium, providing a lighter alternative to the factory steel sprocket.

On a Surron Light Bee, 48T is the original rear sprocket size. This means you retain the bike’s familiar balance of acceleration, climbing ability and top speed while benefiting from a premium-quality replacement sprocket.

Available in black or purple anodised finishes.

What does 48T do to performance?

For the Surron Light Bee, 48T is the factory tooth count. It will not materially change the bike’s acceleration, torque or top speed compared with the original 48T sprocket.

This is ideal for riders who are happy with the factory gearing but want a lighter, better-finished replacement sprocket.

If you want more low-speed torque and stronger acceleration, a larger rear sprocket would be more suitable. A smaller rear sprocket is used for taller gearing and potentially more top speed, but reduces low-speed torque.

Important: The gearing effect and required chain length may vary between bike models. Check your existing sprocket size and chain adjustment before installation.

Chain requirements

A serviceable factory Surron Light Bee chain can normally be reused because 48T is the original sprocket size. However, a worn chain can prematurely wear a new aluminium sprocket, so inspect the chain and front sprocket before installation.
