  • All prices are shown in NZD and include GST unless stated otherwise.
  • Payment must be received in full before goods are dispatched.
  • We accept payment methods as displayed at checkout.
  • We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and cancel orders affected by obvious mistakes.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • Delivery timeframes are estimates only and not guaranteed.
  • Risk of loss or damage passes to you once goods are dispatched.
  • Any shipping charges are shown at checkout.

6. Returns, Refunds & Consumer Rights

Our Returns & Refunds Policy forms part of these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA).

If goods are faulty, unsafe, or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy under the CGA. Where the CGA does not apply (for example, for change-of-mind returns), our store policy applies.

7. Off-Road Use Disclaimer

Certain products sold by Shock Moto, including electric dirt bikes and related equipment, are designed for off-road use only unless explicitly stated otherwise.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with:

  • New Zealand road rules;
  • Local council regulations; and
  • Any applicable registration, certification, or safety requirements.

Shock Moto accepts no responsibility for misuse of products outside their intended purpose.

8. Warranties

  • Manufacturer warranties apply where offered and are passed on to the customer.
  • Warranty claims must be assessed according to manufacturer terms and the Consumer Guarantees Act.
  • Damage caused by misuse, modification, incorrect installation, or normal wear and tear is not covered.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Shock Moto is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of our products or website.
  • Our liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the product concerned.

This clause does not limit your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act.

10. Business Customers

If you are purchasing goods for business purposes, you agree that the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply, as permitted under section 43(2) of the Act.

All content on this website, including logos, images, text, and designs is owned by or licensed to Shock Moto.
