The Ventus Pegasus Ultra Bee Battery is a 96V 56Ah high-voltage performance battery developed for serious Surron Ultra Bee builds. With 5.25kWh of capacity and up to 75kW power capability, the Pegasus battery is designed to support demanding controller and motor upgrades while retaining the Ultra Bee's stock battery lid height.
The Ventus Ultra Bee 75kW Performance Battery is a high-voltage, high-output power source developed for serious Surron Ultra Bee performance builds. With a 96V platform, 5.25kWh capacity and up to 75kW power capability, it is designed to support demanding controller and motor upgrades without requiring a taller battery lid.
This is more than a range upgrade. Its 800A peak and 400A continuous discharge capability are intended to deliver strong, consistent power under acceleration, hill climbing and sustained high-load riding. Ventus has also engineered the pack to retain the Ultra Bee's stock battery lid height, helping preserve the bike's original centre of gravity and handling characteristics.

A high-performance controller and motor can only deliver their full potential when the battery is capable of safely supplying the required voltage and current. On a heavily modified Ultra Bee, the factory battery can become the limiting component in the powertrain.
The Ventus 75kW Performance Battery is engineered to provide the output required by extreme Ultra Bee builds while also delivering greater energy capacity than the standard battery.
High power without raising the battery position
Ventus has focused on increasing power and capacity within the available battery space. By retaining the stock lid height, the pack is designed to avoid unnecessarily raising the bike's centre of gravity.

Controller and motor compatibility
This battery is designed for high-output Ultra Bee powertrains. However, the battery's 75kW capability does not mean every controller or motor can safely operate at that output.
Final confirmation is currently being obtained for approved combinations involving the Ventus V9600 GEN2 Controller, Ventus Beast 48kW Motor, Ventus Ryuga motors, the stock Ultra Bee motor and third-party components. Contact us before purchasing for a complete powertrain build.
Range and charging
Ventus reports an 86-mile riding range under its test conditions. This is approximately 138km, but it should not be treated as a guaranteed real-world range.
Actual range will vary substantially depending on controller settings, power output, speed, terrain, rider weight, temperature, tyre pressure and riding style. A bike operating at very high power can consume the available energy considerably faster than a bike used for moderate trail riding.
Fast-charge capability
Ventus reports that the battery can charge from 0–80% in approximately 45 minutes using its specified 50A charging system. Charger inclusion, plug type and New Zealand compatibility are being confirmed.

What is the main advantage of this battery?
It combines a 96V platform, 5.25kWh energy capacity and very high discharge capability in a pack designed to retain the Ultra Bee's stock battery lid height. It is intended for riders building a significantly more powerful Ultra Bee.
Will this battery make my Ultra Bee produce 75kW?
Not by itself. The battery is rated to support powertrain systems up to 75kW, but actual output depends on the controller, motor, tune, wiring, connectors, gearing and operating conditions. Every component must be suitable for the selected power level.
Does it fit under the original Ultra Bee battery lid?
Ventus states that the battery is compatible with the stock Ultra Bee lid and maintains the original battery-lid height. Final fitment should still be confirmed against your bike's model year and existing modifications.
Will it work with the Ventus Beast 48kW motor?
Final confirmation of the approved battery, controller and motor combinations is being obtained from Ventus. Please contact Shock Moto before ordering if you are building a complete Ventus Ultra Bee powertrain.
Do I need a Ventus Ryuga motor?
This has not yet been confirmed. The required motor depends on the target output and approved controller configuration. A 75kW-capable battery does not automatically mean a Ryuga motor is required, but the motor must be rated appropriately for the intended tune.
Will the battery give me more range?
Its 5.25kWh capacity provides substantial stored energy, but real range depends on how the bike is ridden and tuned. Higher power settings can offset the benefit of the larger capacity by consuming energy much faster.
Can it really charge from 0–80% in 45 minutes?
Ventus reports approximately 45 minutes from 0–80% when using the specified 50A charging system. The supplied charger, New Zealand plug configuration and electrical requirements are currently being confirmed.
