But more power does not automatically make a better bike. In reality, factors like:

• and rider skill

often make a bigger difference to how enjoyable a bike is to ride.

A lightweight bike with good suspension can feel significantly better on technical trails than a heavier bike with huge power numbers.

For many riders, especially newer riders, manageable power is actually more fun and easier to ride confidently.

2. Buying a Bike That Doesn’t Match Their Riding Style

Different bikes suit different riders. Someone riding:
